Luxury Apartment Renovation at Serenia Residences, Palm Jumeirah

We transformed this one-bedroom luxury apartment in the sought-after Residences on The Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. This is a prestigious sea-view address offering oasis-style living with lush garden surroundings.

Maximising Space in a Compact Layout

Although compact, the apartment is now maximised for space and functionality. A complete kitchen redesign includes essential built-in appliances such as a washer and dryer. These additions improve practicality while also introducing refined design elements.

Contemporary Bathroom Redesign

Both bathrooms have been completely redesigned for a modern, high-end look. The powder room features Ceppo di Gré-inspired tiling in sleek grey tones. This finish gives the texture and elegance of natural stone.

The same style continues into the ensuite bathroom. Here, a back-lit shower niche adds both functionality and a sophisticated visual detail.

Bespoke Furniture Solutions

A custom-made triangular desk wraps around a structural pillar, turning it into a stylish workspace with panoramic views. This design reduces the visual impact of the pillar and improves usability. Bespoke furniture design combines with clever planning to elevate the apartment’s elegance.

Integrated Lighting and Smart Home Technology

Lighting design plays a key role in the transformation. Ambient and feature lighting define each area and create multiple moods.

All systems connect to smart home technology. This allows easy control of lighting scenes and motorised blinds for comfort and convenience.

A Showcase of Modern Interior Design in Dubai

This project blends luxury finishes, smart home integration, and space-optimised layouts. The result is a serene, functional retreat in one of Dubai’s most exclusive waterfront residences.

How we made it work

Designing a compact luxury apartment like this is a rewarding challenge for our Dubai interior design team. The goal was to integrate practical, bespoke storage solutions while keeping the layout open, uncluttered, and free-flowing. A key factor in achieving this balance was the use of harmonious, even-toned materials, including smooth Ceppo di Gré-inspired tiling for the bathroom walls and sinks, paired with premium Hansgrohe fixtures. The warm beige, soft grey, and sleek black palette is enriched by the subtle copper tones of the porcelain tiling in the open-plan kitchen, creating a refined, cohesive look that enhances both functionality and style.

The Details

Bespoke Design for Smaller Luxury Residences

In smaller luxury residences, bespoke design is key to maximising space while elevating style. This apartment features custom-made storage solutions, tailored headboards, a dressing table, and intelligently designed wardrobes — each enhancing the client’s daily living experience. Every piece is both practical and visually engaging, creating a home that is as functional as it is artistically luxurious.

Refined Built-In Features

Throughout the home, thoughtful details stand out. Beneath the media wall, we integrated essential storage topped with porcelain for a refined finish. The custom-built wooden desk is a standout feature, wrapping elegantly around a structural element to create a dedicated work zone between the kitchen and living areas.

Statement Furniture and Textural Variety

In the living space, a handmade pebble-shaped coffee table, low-profile upholstered seating, and steel-framed stools with soft sheepskin-effect upholstery add tactile variety and visual interest.

Bedroom Elegance with Integrated Storage

In the bedroom, a full-width headboard brings both softness and architectural presence, while built-in bedside tables maximise space and provide discreet storage.

Full Turnkey Delivery and Ongoing Care

This was delivered as a full turnkey interior design project, complete with all bedding, accessories, and final styling — ensuring it was 100% move-in ready for the client. We also provide ongoing property care services, acting as a single point of contact for any future needs — from maintenance coordination to property management — offering complete peace of mind.
